went out on first light to our usual areas in the 30's and 40's, fish all over the sounder and only came home at the end of the day with a descent pinky and a good skippy (returned a few undersize dhuies and dropped a few good fish) was very slow. Last weekend we smashed 13 demersals in 3.5 hours. Brother was blaming the moon for the slow day.
Fished hard without much reward. Started in 60m where I have never missed....until yesterday! And thanks to the wanker who veered off course to come over, stop, bomb the spot and then continue on his way. Very annoying
These posts are making me feel a shitload better about Sat morning. We had freshly caught cuttlefish, Sgt Baker and king wrasse down and couldn't even raise 1 demersal. Even the shitfish went off the bite after high tide.
Went out Sunday got a couple of dhuies 700+, gummy shark , snapper, and 3 poor mans crayfish (gurnard). There was plenty of fish on the sounder and it was just a matter of which spot the fish wanted to bite on.
Left the marina about 2pm and within an hour of being at the spot had 3 big pinks and a dhu on board. Sad thing is we only had 2 on board so left them biting!

Very slow
same - found loads of ground and fish, and managed a baldy and a pinkie only....very few bites from even the wrasse!
i knew the good weather wasn’t enough!
