Looking for charts for Lowrance GPS / Fishfinder
Submitted by joel88 on Fri, 2013-01-18 12:21
Hey guys,
I've got a Lowrance GPS / Fishfinder and looking at buying the charts. I've noticed the Navionics charts are by far the favourite choice of people on here but is there a cheaper option too? I only ever really go in the Swan River and the Sound so don't really want to spend the money on having Australia wide charts. Any ideas? Second hand ones are fine just need to be regualr SD cards.
Cheers

Navionics do a range now
Navionics do a range now called "small" but that only refers to the area not the price tag. They only cover a couple of hundred ks of coast and cost about half.
But Id buy a second hand Aus one then at least you can sell it later.

Thanks
Thanks for the reply. A second hand oz card sounds like the way to go. Didn't really think of resale value. Reckon I'd find one of those for under $250 though?

Darwin to Esperance would be
Darwin to Esperance would be plenty for me. And $200 sounds quite reasonable to me I'll have to keep an eye on it

Hi, I've got a spare
Hi, I've got a spare Navionics Gold / XL9 chart from my Lowrance LCX-27C which I sold on Ebay and the guy did not want the chart card. I'll take $200 for it. PM me if interested. If I don't hear from you I'll pop it on Ebay.
