NOR beach advice plz?

Hey All ... just wondering if you know of a nice (no weed) beach that I can take my son (8yo) to for a hearing & whiting sesh? I'm after somewhere close to Jindalee/Quins Rock as time is limited, just for couple of hours after work, and before dark.
Any help would be appreciated

Best to go when light winds and easterly most of the day. If strong SW wind no chance.
Anywhere along the beach up that way is good chance with the right conditions. Another good spot is the beach north of Burns Beach. Just need to pick the spot due to the reef in the area.
North of the dog beach is good as well.
