Mate you will get the best

Mate you will get the best results by doing your own research. The search button on here will bring up heaps of information on where others have caught fish and what they are catching and at what depth. It takes time to go through it all but there is heaps of free info there if you look. After that its about getting out on the water and learning what you need to learn. Start on the easier stuff like Skippy and whiting and go from there. No one will give you their secret fishing spots. If you have a decent GPS, head to a contour line and try there. good luck

Yea mate, just get out there

Fri, 2015-02-27 21:27

Yea mate, just get out there and sound around look for hard ground with fish flares, and drift them, a lot of hrs on the water and hard work go into peoples fishing spots, and they won't be giving them up, look around for cray pots and fish them sometimes you can do well around them especially for a beginner, I think the other blokes were takin the piss about the pms too so don't wait to long for them...

 Never done much boating

Sat, 2015-02-28 11:09

Never done much boating around Perth but the 5 fathom bank seems pretty popular and produces some decent fish from what i read. Pretty sure that runs from Mandurah way up to Rocko probably further. Is well documented so would be pretty popular so id look for my own spots along it.

Find broken ground on the sounder and where water depth changes suddenly etc.

I'm thinking this is Lauchie making a reappearance under a different nom de plume.
