More importantly John, there were a few good signs such as our pressure around the ball increased dramatically, Sinclairs game and Brownies return after 18 months.
Small steps, but at least the win/loss ratio is back in the black.
My missus decided to sit back with a glass of bubbly to watch chick flicks this arvo. I decided to take the dog to the beach and stick a limp line in the water. I sat there and followed the game and it was very good listening and I must admit guys, I felt really good when the Bombers hit the front. Having said that however I do congratulate the Pies for a hard fought win. I guess what I am observing here is a season taking shape and it seems all is up for grabs. The Cats are not firing, the Hawks are a 2-man show, the Saint's are suspect etc. etc. Bombers are looking OK so far but not that strong and the Pies look beatable.
Being a West Aussie I am just pinning my hopes on my Eagles men and looking at every game we play as an opportunity for 4 points. Let's see how things pan out from here..

Echo
Like an echo of Geelongs start of last season, took them a few games to get things moving then there was no stopping them.
