Point Samson Info

Hi all

Hopefully someone can help me, I am thinking of going for a fish from Point Samson but have never had the boat in from there. Do you need a certain tide to get in at the boat ramp? And are there any big bombies to watch out for?

Cheers

On low tide launch at the old ramp as the finger on the new ramp doesnt go that far down, the old ramp goes straight into the channel. When you come back use the new ramp. The area is well signed and the channel easy to see. There are a few bombies but nothing near the channel area.Car park is a little small but its only busy on weekends.
