Polycraft boats

Just checking to see if anyone owns or knows someone who owns one. I am looking at a 5.99 cuddy with a 115 E-Tec. Not to sure how this setup will go over here with the different conditions compared to over east. Only looking at the moment as i will need to sell my boat before i make a choice. I have had a look at a few smaller alloy boats also but at over 50k for a new 5.8mtr the polycraft is a bigger boat for 10K less. Any thoughts would be good. I am downsizing from a 7mtr plate boat.

Thanks

I've got one and love it.

Bought one in June last year and love the ride. I used to work commercially on ali boats and glass boats and appreciated the ride of the glass and the durability of the ali. The poly seems to have both as you don't have to worry about cracking the gel coat, osmosis, getting slammed around and having to visit the chiro or electrolisys.
If I don't want to wash it down after in freshwater no big deal.
I chose poly because I use mine for training so needed the durability, the smooth ride, does not roll from side to side when people move in the boat and when docking does not get blown off course easily.
The down side is the wieght, I have a 5.3m cc and empty with no engine is 700kg while my mates 6m 4mm ali legend cc is 500kg but the ride comes from the wieght.
From doing the rec skippers tickets alot of people have been surprised at the smooth ride and stability.
You can check out www.polyboatowners.com which is where I did a bit of research before my first test drive.
