Prado VX Tyres
The time has come to replace the tyres on my VX Prado 265/60/R18.
Current tyres are the stock Dunlop AT22 rated 110H. Do not have any complaints of them, and they have been fine both around the city and when I have taken the car offroad... but thought I'd consider my options. Most of my driving is city based, with some longer distance touring, towing/launching the boat and some offroad (mainly sand/beach) driving thrown in. Along with safety, and as long as the tyre is reasonable offroad, I'll prioritise low noise and fuel effeciency over greater capability in tough and muddy 4wd terrain (I'd rarely do this).
Yokohama Geolander AT GO15 seem to be popular and have reasonable reviews online. However, for the VX Prado with 18" wheel size the Go15's come in 110H and 119S versions... while different shops have given different reccomendations. So currently trying to decide which version to go with, or maybe just stick to what I have (if it aint broke don't fix it). I understand the 119S have greater load carrying capacity, which some have suggested would be beneficial because I tow the boat, but I'm not sure I really need this when the stock AT22 110H performed without any issues.
I know tyres are a big can of worms and everyone has their brand aand model preferences... but thought I'd see if anyone here has any experience with the 18" Gelonader GO15's and whether they went the 110H or 119S... and why?
I'm also keen for any opinions or expertise on what the real world difference is between 110H and 119S tyres from the same manufacturer and is the higher load rating that beneficial to towing a 1.5T boat... plus what do you give up for this?

On my old prado I went the coopers at3 lt, was a gxl, so only 17's. I found them fantastic, great in city and very capable off road, with decent sidewall protection. Have put coopers at3s on my 200 series and found them just as good. I will happily go the same when they wear out.

My last Prado tyres where the fallen wild peak at3's
Gave a good compromise as an all terrain and they are usually priced well with the buy four get one free offer.
i do have to also shout out to the micky Thompson stz that I had first, they stopped making them in the original tread but those tyres were awesome, quiet as, and lasted me 100kkms! Dear as poison but geez, if I was going to get a new set of tyres for a car that I wanted to keep for a long time I would look at the Mickey Thompson range again. Did I already say they are expensive...

I've put the Wildpeak's on
I've put the Wildpeak's on my Ranger, have done 20000km with them and they still look new treadwise, they are excellent on the beach launching the boat so no complaints here.

Yep, I also have the falken's on my Ranger that have done 60,000km. Driven to Broome and back, Exmouth and back, shark bay and back, Esperance and back and lots in between.
deflating them to drive in soft sand three days ago, I noticed a few gouges in them so I dare say they are not far off needing to be replaced

I've had Wildpeaks on my 200
I've had Wildpeaks on my 200 for the last 80000. Still got a bit to go. Done a heap through the Pilbara, Gibb River etc and I'm still really happy with them. Great on sand too. Done White Hills and Willbinga in the last month. I put them on my van too.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
