You shouldn't have any trouble

Mon, 2016-04-04 16:54

Great looking craft, you shouldn't have any trouble catching fish out of that no matter what the weather is like.

Live here

Mon, 2016-04-04 18:13

Its hard when you have to live here in Shark Bay but someone has to do it. Fishing has been goos but the bloody sharks have been very busy so try and get your fish up as quick as possible. you may need to move several times to get away from them. Enjoy your trips and stay safe

Hey stephenm, heading up there in August, postponed it from May as my daughter is having a baby then but she wants to come.
Her hubby grew up at Useless Loop & they wanna catch up with folks over there.
Maybe I will give you a yell closer to the date & catch up there for a drink.
Enjoy the life, JEALOUS.......

Maybe slightly off topic?

Wed, 2016-04-20 22:34

I've never fished out of Shark Bay but have fished Coral Bay a few times now. For those that have fished both locations how would you compare the 2 places? Do you prefer one place over the other? Is it worth the extra drive to Coral Bay? Coral Bay seems quite easy to fish out of there and after searching several forums on Shark Bay here it seems like Shark Bay has a few more hurdles to overcome to get to the fish?

I will be there and keen to

Sun, 2016-05-08 08:03

Yer we will be in Denham from the 28th of May - 11th of June, defiantly be keen to head over west side of dirk hartog for some drops. Whilst there is a few people following I have to travel from Albany with the family ( 2 boys under 3) so where would be the best place to book a cabin overnight that I will be able to swing in and leave the boat connected for an early departure. Towing 6.8m alli walk around. Depending on how the kids travel I may need to do two stops.

 We stopped at northbrook

Sun, 2016-05-08 08:45

We stopped at northbrook farmstay (in the cottage if you can get it) which is just north of Northampton so you first day drive would be a pretty long one.

S Bend

Sun, 2016-05-08 11:01

S Bend caravan park just south of Geraldton has cabins for about $75.

We've used them to break the trip to Denham. Pretty basic, 1 set of single bunks, one double/single bunk. Enough space to leave the boat trailer hooked up.
