Stolen Boat

G'day ladies and gents, Last night some mongrel stole the Poppy, from Warnbro. Took boat and trailer. It was not currently insured. They took the fuel container about a month ago. It has been reported but if anybody sees her it would be appreciated if they could please send a message. Husband is obviously pretty upset as this was his link to the best bloke in the world who raised him.

One trick I always do is
One trick I always do is remove one wheel and lock it away, leaving the trailer sitting on a block. Most thieves will hopefully assume you have bearing issues and wouldnt leave it alone , or have to find the spare as well.ONly takes 2 minutes to pop it back on again.

I know its a bit late now but a hitch lock is a good investment.
Or if your handy with a welder you could knock one up yourself as i did.

Trailer licence plate number
Can you post up the trailer licence plate number, someone might see the trailer in a launch area park. Also is there anything that makes the trailer stand out dents etc.

Hi Knackers, just a suggestion, but check your home contents insurance policy. With some policies you maybe covered under the contents clause. I know with mine anything in my garage behind the door is covered by contents, even my project car before it got licenced. You never know, it's worth a try you got nothing to loose.
