Swan Whiting

Caught a few in the Swan yesterday on soft plastic worms. Missed a lot of strikes.
They were yummy.

What are they like to eat
Look like trumpeter whiting(never having caught any thou) so I'm interested to hear what they are like on the chew

yh the whiting are everywhere
yh the whiting are everywhere at night small hooks small bait I bet you would catch a bucket full yeh they are trumpeter whiting cant rally taste the difference

Sorry for the late reply to the questions:
1. Not sure if they are trumper whiting, but they are really good on the chew.
2. At point walter (there are stacks of them in the river, i caught some at point walter, eshed, narrows on plastic worms).
3. Used Berkley Gulp Bloodworms, very small chunks on a size 8 hook, with a "Carolina Rig" with no bead. Cast and wait a few minutes, then give it a couple of reels and wait again. If you can get small circle hooks in that size there will be no need to strike (I don't have any, but ordered some online).
I am going to give the micro vibes a go. I would love to catch flounder.
