twinfisher 4.9
Submitted by Boppo on Tue, 2013-05-14 05:59
Am looking at a few different boats and trying to find out wich one will suit my needs the best. The twinfisher 4.9 is one of those but I can't seem to find one in the state, not up for sale anyway. Was wondering if anyone here has one or knows someone who has one so I can at least lay my eyes on one.

I think that one was a 5.2 which I have seen
and they are a nice boat but maybe a tad big for my needs. The new models are now made in china which has put me off however they do look good

Assuming your referring to
Assuming your referring to the Webster Twinfishers they are SA based. Haven't heard anything about them now being made in China myself. Ray and Annes Tackle in SA stock them and have some in stock - may be worth giving them a call - if the manufacture of them has changed their stock may still be Aust Made ones.

good tubs
my last boat before leaving Karratha was a 4.7 webby very stable at anchor only problem with mine I felt it was a bit under powered with a 40 hp I also had some cavitation problems when getting up on the plane but fiddling with the trim and moving weight around in the boat fixed that

She's a few years old and only 4.7.... But you never know what a bit of negotiating may do to get the price down a touch more!!

Would have to come down a long way on price to allow for a new motor to be fitted!
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
