Where to go fishing - Suggestions Needed!!

Gents,
I am thinking about taking 2 weeks off in late October / Early November and traveling from Perth up to as far as Exmouth fishing anywhere I can along the way. I have just got a new 7m ally and keen to test it out with a few decent fish.
As the demersal ban would have started by then I cannot fish anywhere south of Kalbarri (For demersals) so I was thinking around Denham, Coral Bay and Exmouth.
My question is if anyone has any experience with fishing up in that area (North of Kalbarri) Where would you suggest going? If there are any locals keen to come for a fish I will be happy to take you out if you show me some good spots!!
Cheers

Last time I checked it was north of kalbarri, but I'm prety sure they shut the island down November to March as it gets howling winds up there also. But check it out some good fishing that way

Yeah I have been googling what the weather is like in late october / early november and cant really find too much info!!
Thats what I am concerned about..... Organising the trip and then not actually being able to go because the wind and swell are too big!!
Anyone had any experience with the wind up there that time of year? Any locals on here that can let me know what its like?
Cheers guys

We took a boat there once 5
We took a boat there once 5 years ago stayed at whitnell point northern end of island it's prety sheltered but can still cop a beating in the right conditions there used to be a shack there but now it's eroded away and you have to be self sufficient and well planned... For eg water fuel food generator freezers tents alcohol ect ect it's best to have a boat and bring a car over on the barge to get all the gear over... there are other places to Moore a boat but that's the closest to turtle bay / cape inscription
or you can stay at homestead which is luxury and bomb hospitality... Great food, showers and toilet it's southern end of island but quiet easily zip around to south passage
best bet is to ring Kirean and/or his wife and they will tell you what to expect in what months
