White scale on outboard leg
Submitted by Bidder01 on Tue, 2012-01-24 12:19
Hi Fellas
I've developed quite a bit of that white scale type stuff on my outboard leg. I've had it on boats before but never quite so bad.
Any ideas on how to get it off? I was thinking something like C.L.R. should shift it.
Appreciate your ideas.

Try vinegar
If I recall correctly this has been asked before and someone said vinegar did the trick.

I get it on my suzuki's and I use hydrochloric acid straight. Doesn't affect the paint and is cause by the exhaust. My mechanic uses it.
