Who's Riding in the Ride To Conquer Cancer this weekend?

Hey All,

I spoke to a couple of you guys a few months back who are riding this weekend in the Ride To Conquer Cancer. We came up with the idea of any Fishwrecked members riding should hang a lure from under their seat so we can identify each other and give us a slap on the back for a bloody good effort for a great cause.

I'll be doing it and would love to see any other Fishwrecked members riding to.

All the best for the ride.

I'm doing it.  Thanks in part to some very generous members on here, my wife and I have raised $7,650 between us.  Look out for the lure!

Yep, looking foward to it. Have selected a lure to dangle also, just below the rear ID plate I reckon.

Well done to all those doing the ride and raising funds for research.

Hey Joodles,

Yeah I was looking out for you guys too I had the lure hanging off my seat but like you said there were so many riders it was hard to spot people. You're right yesterday was a dream ride better than last year with the Nor Wester we had and yesterday sure made up for Saturday's slog, the sweeps told us that 20% pulled out Saturday when they hit that head wind.

Thanks everyone for support

Thanks everyone for all you donations and support - had a great ride.  I highly recommend it for anyone next year - very well organised.

Good to meet you too Joodles - Wife's knee took a turn at about the 50km mark on day 2 so we limped home and I pushed her up every hill for the last 60km :-) but we got there.

Sorry we missed you madfisher.

Moking - I also remember seeing the flag.  I used to spend a lot of time under the old PB jetty so was looking at the new one and the flag was right there - cheers for the support
