Yanchep Club Cap Monday session.

Got up at 5:00am yesterday to go for a flick at Club Cap.
Get there at 6:00am thinking we'd be the only ones stupid enough to get up that early on a public holiday and low and behold the beach was packed! Not surprising I guess with such nice conditions (sweet FA wind, small swell, no weed, wasn't too cold). Anyway ended up fishing there for about 3 hours with no interest on the big rods, but plenty of pickers so thought we'd throw out the flick sticks and see what happened. Ended up with dozen whiting, 2 very plump herring and a common dart. The guy next to us got a small(ish) tailor but there was bugger all caught in general. Nice monring non-the-less.

not a bad WA day
doesn't sound like a bad morning, in my experiences yanchep always produces sunset / an hour after for the big tailor!
have made a few PB's there and beaten most of my PB's as well down behind club cap and or the lagoon

Yeah I've only ever fished there at sunset/just after with a few cod/tailor/herring caught.

Was surprised how busy it was
Was surprised how busy it was there myself, good to know the hearing are still about too, the tailor measured in for 26cm, smallest one I have hooked into thou the week before caught a 46cm tailor, was a good morning regardless and crossing fingers for some more legal sized fishes in the future.
