Just seeing if I can post a pic again my gear on my last exmouth trip

was wading the flats last night and spotted this fella and was not fussed at all with getting its photo taken. Even had half my hand down its tail before it shot off.

I must give it to the kayak folk, you make something which is already hard a lot harder than it has to be.  Was down in Cheynes beach 2 weeks ago and managed to get into a few geordies from the yaks, great fun, killed the back though.

Hey all,

After much discussion we finally found a boat to upgrade from the old 4.75m Allycraft. Ended up with a 670 Custom Craft Pro Fish (Fibreglass). I think this boat is made by Leeder. Got a little cabin and decent deck space.

Cant wait to get out for a fish, this time out a little bit deeper! Got a 150 Johnno OceanRunner on the back with low hours.

Seems to smash through the chop a lot easier than the old boat, so hanging out to take her for her maiden fishing voyage.

Unfortunately already hired a boat for our exmouth trip next week, so she will be staying at home for now. I hope the cyclone up there doesnt destroy the trip!

My PB sambo I caught out on whitty's boat last friday. I caught it on a stella 5000, hearty rise jig force pe 1.5-3 and 30lb braid. Estimated around 35kg. It took a 165g smith mejiyume. Gonna take me a while to beat this one i think!!

Got love how hard these fellas go, this was the smallest for the day but has the best colors.

it went 80cm and guessed around 9 - 10kg

 It took the best part of 5 hours to reel in and fed 50 of us, haha only joking it was released
