Managed to hook this in 15 metres of water, i thought they were a deep sea species?

From what ive heard you can onyl catch them in roughly 40 metres? is that right?

Took the tinny to exmouth and picked up this Hoo along with a few others on the western side of exmouth.

Had to free spool him to evade the grey suited warrior (bigger than the 4m tinny)... Excellent few weeks, cant wait to get back.

Chrome pink crazy deep did the damage... like always.

Caught lastnight , biggest whiting went 27cm+ ...i havent caught such fat whiting before, bbq'ing them tonight

been a bit of a dry spell for me lately so was good to get into some keepers!

Nice trout from during the FW comp, 65cm but still 10cm shy of the trout section win.  Atleast we beat lucky tim in that category. ;)

 Picked up this Sambo this morning (1/5/11) on 30lb. Lost an awesome pinkie early on, and then got hammered by these fellas! And released of course, to fight another day..

this is a picture fairly recent, there dad has all the bling, but obviouslt none of them have a brain!

My first ruby on jig

5 drops between us resulted in 2 rubies, 1 GB, one shark and one miss drift.  Thinking this deep jigging is much better than dragging sinkers.
