Hey people,

went for a quick session yesterday at hillarys for about an hour, fished north wall targeting buffies and luderick.

I ended up after the 1 hour with 2 buffies and 1 Luderick. The Luderick was a fair size so gave it to my grandparents, kept the 2 buffies for bait/berley...

i was also teaching my 5 year old cousin how to fish and he caught his first ever fish not a blowie but a baby luderick! he had a big smile.

Unfortunately only 1 photo as the rest were blurry.

stingray off cervantes jetty with a handline. took 20 mins to get in with a mate , was going for sharks but cervantes is riddled with these f$%&^&'s, any tips for sharks in cervantes ?

Jeffro finally got a red, even though not huge, it still counts.  We also got 8 goldband, 4 spanglies (1 released to try get another red) 1 pearl perch and this red oh and also got snipped by a wahoo.  Bag photo coming tomorrow, not a bad effort for 2 hours bottom fishing after a howling easterly this morning.

South easter was blowing its ring out today. Still headed out, searching for new spots, on the north side of the island. Found some nice bommies to cast lures out, cant wait for the wind to drop off. Picked up a few trickie snapper for tea, Claire enjoyed her morning out on the water.

soup.

This was supposed to be a big dhu fish or a nice baldy ,pinky or black arse ..............no it had to be this !
