Can't help myself after recent comments.
I only barrack for 2 teams, Collingwood and what team is playing against the Eagles.
Blame their loud mouthed supporters for that, patriotism, they called it when the Eagles first started, you have to go for a West Australian team. Why should I, nothing wrong with the team I had followed for many years.
They were gifted what was the equivalent of a state team and in comparison the Dockers got a mere pittance and to have to continually hear the "we have won three premierships" Whoopie Doo, big F***ing deal.

Just like Collingwood gifts itself as many home games as Eddy can get them. Remember we didn't win out first flag till 92 so most of that gifted state squad as you mention was gone. We won our flags through good drafting, guys like Heady at 92 and excellent club mamgement back then. So basically our flags were not gifted, those boys worked hard for them. I went and saw the Freo v Bombers and I don't know about this taking the foot off the throat of Hirdy's mob. But the ground was super jewy after 3/4 time, hence all the fumbling. I think a loss maybe on the horizon, maybe doggies.

One thing I noticed about (the new) pearce is how well he positioned his body in the one on one marking contest. was very impressive for a 19 yr old first game key position player.

Probably best game by west coast in the last few seasons. Some of thier goal kicking wasnt great, but what was pleasing to see was thier two way running , which was poor against the top teams and especially against freo in round 3. The defence is standing up well considering the tall options that port had in thier foward half. Good to see elliot yeo playing well through the midfield along with sheed and duggan.

Well done to the Eagles, they are my team but I didn't think they could keep up the pressure to hold Port at home.
Most of the new names are from east Perth & have a lot of enthusiasm & grit. Maybe explains why West Perth (garlic munchers) destroyed East Perth yesterday. Grrrrrr.
Anyhow its a long way to go but I think they are doing well to turn out performances like that away from home.
Well done to both our teams, as much as it pains me to say that haha.
We went to Freo yesterday for a drive, last nite my wife broke out in a horrible rash.
That will teach us for not getting vaccinated before we crossed the river Haha.
