Charter operators
Here is a link to a kiwi fishing site that discusses the good ones. There are a few from Auckland however you need to understand that most public charters are more likely to target a feed of snapper and not YTK.

Charters
If you are wanting to go from Auckland there are several that are good.
Suggest that you go to fishing.net.nz and use search for charter operators. I used to crew [casual]with Damo on Charter Connection based at Gulf Harbour
Red Boats also operate from Auckland,
Good luck and enjoy NZ fishing.
