contour cam for my birthday

I was lucky enough to get a contour gps cam and 60 metre housing for my birthday last week . I`ve fitted it to my mask strap for now and tried it out on the weekend. It wasnt quite alligned properly but gives an idea of what it can do.

Tried it out again today and it was alligned pretty well, got some good above water stuff of a whale checking the boat out too . I`ll post that later I reckon.

What software are you using

Hey guys,

Ive just got the GoPro and im stocked with the quality and footage ive got with the camera. I have the flat faced underwater housing made by "Eye of Mine" that gives excellent clarity underwater. I also found the camera is better mounted at the very back of the sprear gun (stops the image moving to fast) and in the case of diving with out the gun ive been mounting mine on a broom stick! It works really well as you can push the stick right up close to the fish, under ledges and into caves etc. Im also just getting a light to mount alongside the camera to aid the quality.

The one thing ive been struggling with is finding an easy editing program. Ive been told the apple software is the best but dont have a mac computer, what are you guys using to edit and upload your vids?

Cheers,

Russ

we use corel video studio 12

we use corel video studio 12 but I think version 14 is the newest one. Windows movie maker works ok if you are not getting too serious. May thing I find is you can never have a fast enough processor or enough RAM when dealing with hi-def footage, poor puter almost has steam coming out when you start rendering
