Exmouth 2013

 Hi fellas,

I have a 6 week stay in exmouth in the month of june/july/august, and as it is only end of feb, how does one past the time till then, knowing he has 4 months to wait till he can get into some good fish,,,,,,,,,,,?

Also if any other members that will be there at that time are welcome to join for a landbased fish.

Cheers Syd

Mon, 2013-03-11 20:06

you lucky buggar, all I'm thinking about is fishing those beaches again and getting stuck into some fish. thought some retail therapy would get me through, but all of the gear I ordered won't be ready till I actualy leave, so I can't even play with some gear and day-dream about fishing there. post some pics up to get us through.....

 Make sure you upgrade all

Make sure you upgrade all your rings and trebbles, don't want to drop a horse because of substandard hardware...

 never had a drama there,

never had a drama there, just seems to be bad luck with the horse's, always seem to get reefed wether  I'm full locked drag or the softly softly aproach.

Though I have found the softly softly has a better fish to photo ratio than the lock them up and grunt it out style.

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:

n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or

n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Mon, 2013-03-25 19:49

cheers, got more gear coming, rods are not due for a few more months, and some custom lures are not too far off.

just can,t wait to be there, buying  more gear just seems to take the edge off it.
