fishing today
Yes we finally got out for a fish ,the weather was a little choppy but the fish were out to play, and it didn't take long to get the first fish ,only a sambo but still a fish . Jody was along for the ride and was also into the fish dam another sambo time to move. As the wind was blowing a bit we set up drift, and waited for the wind to drop so we could get set on the patches .But the rods were going off even on to flat .Ended up being a great day with
2x sambo, released
10x dhuies 5 released all fish released were 580-620mm
3x baldchin
4x blackass
and a few sargent baker and wrasse, one large stingray ,and we drop some good fish . An awesome day,so its fresh fish for christmas.

Well i think it was pretty
Well i think it was pretty even as all caught fish ,some were just bigger than others. It was quite choppy ,the wind was around the 18knots ,then droped for an hour before the seabreeze. Most fish came of coral and rock ,i all a realy good day out and plenty of fish for christmas, now i just need some crays.

Thats what the weekend
Thats what the weekend diving is for isnt it Paul?
10 dhuies in a day, you gotta be happy with that. Actually, I do recall a previous time as well. Must be the skipper
(When Jesse gets a sambo these days do you call him Samson? hehe)

Sanity restored
God I needed that (am I allowed to say God on here still )....but I think I've jeopardized the safety of the cat
Yeah Matt, definately 'tis the skipper! and it is no wonder the spots are coverted and cared for.
Thanks Paul and Jesse, another excellent day out out on the water. My only regret is I couldn't get that last one up . B@stard!! Biggest Dhuie ever that one

Nice catch, looked a little lumpy out there but it would have still been better than working.

Yes the drift was fast, but
Yes the drift was fast, but put on enough weight and you will hold .And the fish didn't seem to mind, they don't usually chase the bait with the drift so quick, but this day was different.with bites constant for most of the morning..

That ground is better
With a faster drift for some reason. We dont go as well when you drift slow. The drift you had that day would have been fairly quick i would guess.Still not too jealous Did you try your sea anchor on the back of the second wave ?
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?
