footy tipping (plenty of players for a comp)

seems like we have plenty of interest so the entry fee of $50 paid before round one gets you the code for the AFL fishwrecked tipping comp ive started
- remembering to enter tips is you responsibility
- at this stage iam happy to pay a 1st and 2nd but will make the final call a week out from round 1
- this is home and away season only
- equal first will be decided by highest final round score. if still equal will go back each round until a winner is decided
- players listed below, please make sure you are on the list and have paid next to your name
- when payment is made use your fishwrecked name and footy tipping so i can keep track of who has paid
- Total of $1300
- 1st = 850. 2nd = 450.

I'm in a comp already with the AFL, pretty easy to use.
From past experience, if people haven't paid prior to the first bounce of round 1 it's painful getting the money from them, especially if they fall behind early.

I've created a AFL tipping comp so ill send people the comp number once money confirmation is made.
I'll add names to the original post with "paid" so you can keep an eye on money total and entry's.
If we get enough paid players there will be a 1st and 2nd maybe a 3rd.
Does the AFL tipping do automatic margins? If it doesn't I personally don't won't to have margins so would vote no.
If we went NO margins Equal first will be sorted by who had the highest final round score and go back previous rounds if needed. Same way we run it at work no issues.

But on this site can you change your mind. I have never used the AFL tipping and for Rd 1 clicked on Richmond without even knowing it. Im sure it is a good tip but if you change your mind can you alter it.
Also can you see what others have tipped. Not a problem now but latter on it could be "strategic" to see what a close competitor is tipping.

From memory the administrator can run off a report and email it around. You can also lockout the last few rounds so others cant see anyone's tip. Adds to the suspense if it close.

No. Wont discount the dogs. And happy for everyone to write off freo. I am very interested to see how the teams with prominent key forwards that play in that position run out the games with the new restricted rotations and no sub rule. I think that may work in freo's favour. Freo can rotate mundy, fyfe, walters, ballantyne and bennel all through the forward line and midfield, all of whom are quite capable goal kickers, and fyfe and mundy are also big bodied. Add barlow into that mix as well. Versatility may be a bigger advantage this year.
Having said that mccarthy and hogan will look good in purple in 2017.
