Mandurah Fishing
Submitted by Dawesville on Tue, 2013-04-16 16:32
As most of you probably know everyone's been catching massive Dhueys off the coast of Mandurah out from the Dawesville cut.... and I have just lost all my gps spot. We have tried to wing it a few times and are just getting smaller stuff.. I know its a long shot but if anyone could help out with any of their spots (really long shot)that would be greatly appreciated!! My brother caught a 16kg yesterday and need to do better... :)

Mate head 20nm straight west
Mate head 20nm straight west from the cut and start there. Is the 19 fathom bank. It gets a bit hammered but a good spot to start.

Piss take
Gotta be a piss take. Surely your brother could help you out if your story about losing all your gps marks was half true.

Had a boat now for 3 years with mixed luck on fish, currently to this day i have refused spots from a few mates and thats after endless hours 25 and 30ml out hunting and searching and searching.
Have just upgraded my electroinics with a new sounder - more money!!, so the hunt and search continues with even more gussto. I hope to find some good reliable lumbs one day that i can call my own, i love it regardless. Its not easy reading great reports that make people think its easy, ha maybe some people have had gold handed to them, good luck to em, most find there own the hard way.
When i get a good fish on the occasion, and mark that spot, its mine.
I cant help ya, but good luck finding new marks.
