New Sounder/GPS opinions about Simrad
Submitted by Stoinka on Wed, 2015-09-30 20:33
Gday Fishwrecked crew,
Well just purchased a 660 Assassin hard top picking it up next week just a little bit happy. Only have to add a Sounder and GPS.
Was just going to get a Furuno sounder and a separate gps. But i am very impressed with the Simrad NSS 12 evo2, blown away by its capability.
I would like to hear from any of you if you have got one.
Look forward to your comments
Kind regards
Stoinka

hey stoinka i also have the 660 assassin running the nss9m and furuno 587 awesome combo, the simrad is really easy to use and has all the functions if you want to look at adding auto pilot etc just plug and play!

Hi Stoinka
Do you mind if I ask how much you paid? This is the 12inch you got?

transducer
Running the TM258 and it works really well, had the same unit on my last boat with the TM260 but i prefer the 258 for the shallow stuff seems to pick up the ground better, had it in 140s the other day picking up nannies crystal clear, i would put up a pick if i knew how haha.
cheers.
