Can anyone comment on these rods, I was thinking of buying the 37kg for fishing of charters.
Is it worth buying or should I save my money and get something a little better?
Keep in mind I only go out 2-3 times a yet at most, the reel I have is a Catalina 6500.
Cheers guys.

I've got a 15KG Salina II jig
I've got a 15KG Salina II jig rod with a 16000 high speed Salina reel. I run 80lb braid on it and have nailed heaps of kings on the East Coast to about 10KG on it. I think the action on the 15KG rod is probably better than on the 37KG model. If you're not silly with the drag, there shouldn't be too much risk of snapping the blank.
Overall I've been really happy with the outfit.

I was just about to post
Dont like Okuma's at all. Lifetime warranty my ass on a set of V systems I bought some time ago when I decided to upgrade. The way I was treated dont touch them. All I have left is 2 Okuma fly reels and they arent bad. As for Xzoga -- havent got one but it sounds a beast from all accounts.
Congrats on a GOOD choice!
And just for clarity I am not a Diawa or Shimano Rep!!!!!

How do you find the action on
How do you find the action on the PE8. I'm thinking about a three kings trip next year. I'll take my Salina but was also thinking I'd take a second outfit in the PE8-10 range.
