Phuck that I hate the Cockers, no question of that. However that umpiring last night was an absolute sham, 3 quarters of bullshit! Not only a lopsided free count but soft free kicks to the Cats & letting them away with murder against the Cockers!
How does Stevie J get away with scoring a high tackle after taking the bloke around the neck?! Or lining up to kick a bloke in the chops?? Or get tagging protection from the ref's when Fyfe gets the same treatment off the ball & even shoved in the back behind play right in front of the fluoro maggot!
Final quarter that put the whistle away & we having some cracking footy, phuck the tin foil hats I think the fans can feel aggrieved & anybody that thinks differently (apart from Cats fans) would be howling if that was their team

That last quarter was close to freo's best footy this season and getting close to the standard of last year. And coming at a good time. has shown a slight return in form, and easily could have clinched it with Pav and Mundy. But this will make it tough to repeat a GF position.
As for the mighty eagles, where have they been since round 3. As mentioned previously the poor buggers in black and white dont travel well, because the draw always show them travelling the least. So I think we can at least blame Eddie for this favour he does non Vic teams and travel. Loved it.
Also as I have mentioned how to get a mongrel pissed off is to constantly nag at it. The media has done that very well with the WC midfield. Have they albeit small kicked back. And how brave is Priddis, and a possible Brownlow outsider IMO.

Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the front page of todays paper, the headlines were "Eagle's Soar" you would have thought they won a premiership but then again beating the mighty Collingwood would feel like that to them and their supporters.
Was very disappointed in my teams performance but you can't win them all or even most of them these days.

If they played more away games and wernt babied along by the AFL they may have more of a chance , if you look at there average games played by the players that played on Sunday you couldnt have picked them for a win,think the majority had played less than 50.

I attended that game as well, along with the extra time final at Subiaco when we knocked the chardonnay set out of the finals. The latter was a great night, except for all the cockhead eagles fans who wanted to punch on because they lost.
My lasting memory of the WACA final which we lost by 2 points was the eagles fans mouthing off about hey that had 'smashed' us'. I love eagles fans.
Been a good rivalry between the two clubs, 22 wins a piece and 1 draw. Both clubs look to be at a similar stage in their development now, even though the Pies are playing a lot of youth at the moment.
Be interesting to see who next wins a flag out of the two of them.
