Managed to sneak an extra week of RnR this swing and managed a few trips off the drop off and also managed some dhuies on the way home enjoy the pics!

Went out late this morning with the wife for a bit of a bash... Was a good calm day, so the wife was a happy fisher...

Not much happening. Tried the placy's and bait and mixed it up... Tried to keep the burley trail going as we driffed along just behind 3 mile reef.

I started to get bored so decided to throw a whole mullie out on a ballon rig for a bit of a joke. Expecting a shark. (would keep me entertained but not so much the wife.... oh well)

Within 20 minutes the ballon was gone and picked up this stonker. 74cm. Dont have scale must get some cause there was a bit of weight in it.

Was just as surprised to see the number of cray legs that came out as I gutted him, considering how close we were.... 

 Went out this morning with the family to take daughter for a fish with her new rod. We anchored in about 7m on what I thought to be a good spot for some sand whiting. Put her line down with a ball sinker and size 2 long shank. 30 seconds later she's on but doesn't want to touch the rod after seeing line peeling off like it was. So I take over. New pb kgw. Stoked! Then a bust of a few minutes later... will go back with more appropriate tackle.

Been dealing with some personal issue but their is light at the end of the tunnel!

Headed out with a mate last week for a inshore snapp sess on the placs.....

was quiet for the first hour or so, but things got real hot right around sunset...

5 Snaps all over 800 and my new PB that came in at 960 and 23.5 pounds on certified scales :)

 Got out early this morning with a mate for a sunrise anchor and burley session. Hit the water at 5:00am and was bagged out by 6:30am, so then went and caught a few squid for an entre. Love it when things go to plan!

Good day out yesterday with my mate slayfield.i finally made the 20 kg club with this bad boy .then followed it up with an 18 kg mulloway

 Had a ball. Let's see how many Occo he eats compared to bait:):). Still heaps of roaches around in close. Been great year.

 Went for swim today viz crap 2 feet. Daughter wanted pickled occy . So she got it. Turned out tender as. Wicked.

Been out 3 times this week by myself, managed a bag fairly easily each time , quite a few crays around in shallow at the moment

 So there we were, tolling bibbed lured for Mackies over the weekend......

 Hade alot of fun last week plenty of bream around .

Took the opportunity a few weeks back to head down to Albany to catch up with family and head out fishing. First few days of the trip were a bit windy which forced us to chase KGW's in the sound. No monsters but managed to bag a feed and a few sandies as well. Thursday was the day. wind and swell were perfect so we headed out wide. went straight out past bald head aprox 40km's out to 70-80m. fished 3 spots and came home with a few good fish. Queen snapper, bight red fish, black arse, and a few others. great day out.

 Caught this little beauty off West End the other day. I was having a bottom bounce when I noticed some heads popping out of the water -- I quickly dropped some skirts out thinking they were tuna and my Stella 4000 nearly got spooled, he smoked me for 15 or so minutes and finally landed him despite my mate kooking the gaff -- missed twice the snagged him in the belly. All good in the end.

 Haven't put many picks up lately Iv been to busy fishing but here's a few from the last months 

 When out this morning to pull the pot from the ski and managed to grab a few crays ...... So it was a quick trip as I had to go to Kalamunda for a appointment ..... Got back to Rocko and went for a squid fest ...... Manage to grab a fed ..... water conditions were perfect l ...... Now to add the salad ......

Back out on the 5 today with a mate. Current and northerly wind has pushed the brown swan river run-off all the way to rockingham, where i was catching tuna in blue water yesterday was now brown filth and void of any pelagic action. Pushed further south into cleaner water and found the tuna again, much better size today. Blake also managed a by-catch on the stickbait

Ended up with a few fishes yesterday out on the 5. Pulled the pink out of the school on the sounder shot on an 80g blade bouncing away in the rod holder, only a couple touches on the plastic from the rest of his mates, definitely not as agressive as im used to when finding a decent school. Water glassed off so went out chasing the birds along the bank landing 6 tuna casting Yakamito micro jigs, the first five were around the kilo mark and didnt take any drag on the 20lb outfit so swapped out with the bream gear running 6lb, first cast got a fish over twice the size as the others always the way! Was a good 10 minutes getting that one in

 My brother Matty and I Entered the blue water classic in Busselton on the weekend. We took out the heaviest black ass which was the top prize so stoked with that! Caught our bag both days too so all round great weekend.

 caught a nice pinky today off bunno.New PB for me thought it was another sambo went hard on 20 pound light jigging out fit.

Went 11.85kg on the club scales.
