days.

And some people aren't given time to wash up and change before boarding for the flight out.
And yes, some people's hygiene leaves a lot be desired. In work gear OR civvies.

Yep, most Rio sites are turning to this now, arrive ready on site ready to work and we pick them up on the way out going to the airport. We have to prepare all the cribs and have them out on site for when they arrive for their first day shift.

Yep, no time for showers, picked up from site delivered to the airport change clothes at airport, splash some deodorant on, fly in ready to work, drop bags of if time permits grab some lunch and straight into it,
Fly in day= get up at 3am travel to airport fly to site start work back to camp around 6.30pm. 15.5+hr day
Fly out day= get up at 4am breaks, bus to work, work, bus to airport fly, home at 7 pm 15hr day.
Normal day= 4am get up for breaks, leave for work at 5.15am leave site at 6.15pm 20min bus ride to camp Don't ever say FIFO workers get it easy

Pretty standard. Im lucky as a contractor with our own vehicle we still get to knock early and go back for a shower. Although we sometimes get phone calls as to why keys aren't handed back in the morning.

Topical at the moment-
Topical at the moment- Minimum size limits for demersals should be scrapped and only bag limits managed (for type of fish, not species). IE so if current mixed bag limit for demersals is 4, then first four demersals in the boat you keep, then stop fishing for demersals. Doesnt matter what size, what species. Would take away arguments about survival rates of released demersals.

not sure I would want to come in with "undersize" fish when fishing for pinkies in shallows where I'd be pretty sure of survival rates.

Most of the killings were due to rising tensions between the two groups in relation to the ever expanding fenced off farming areas rather than setting out to wipe out the population. That being said, events like the 'Battle' of Pinjarra (more like massacre of women and children) paint a dark picture of european settlement.

Yarran's situation is a concern because of his previous record. He has told the club he intends to plead not guilty. So for now he gets the presumption of innocence. But if he is guilty and it is aggravated assault, not common assault, he could be looking at another stint. I hope for his and his families sake he is innocent. Wait and see.

What ensued between that point and the punch (ing) i dont know but will be critical to establishing guilt. But there is a defence to assault if you are defending yourself or another person. If johnno thought his missus was about to get it, and stepped in (unaware she has effectively "stolen" someone's phone) it could put a different perspective on it. I know johnno wasnt thinking straight as evidenced by the fact he had his trousurers down in a kebab shop, but what if you turned around to see two blokes chasing after your missus? You initual reaction would be to.... step in and stop them??

Johnnos defence may be in s248 (4) of the criminal code, but there would be plenty of legal argument about his state of mind at that point in time, what was said, what was preceived... etc etc

What people must remember is this
What ever you are doing and where ever you go there is at least a couple of cameras/mobile phones just waiting to take a video of the event you are involved in.
As the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, thanks to dash cams a lot of traffic incidents are resoled very quickly.

Should leave name and number . Reward system . Once offender gets caught they get some of proceeds of fine. Backlash ,pay for fuel if wasting fisheries time. Could work on genuine calls. Make people think twice .:):).
