Latest WA Fishing Magazines
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Tue, 2005-12-06 10:32Well.. all the latest December mags were released.. Would have to say that my favourite for this month was Hotbite.. Thought Western Angler was nothing special, FWA had a lot of used content already from the shows and was a couple of days late to the shelves and Hotbite had some pretty good stories/pics and kept me reading..
Pretty good pile of December mags to read.. Whats your opinion?
FNC Cricket Update
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Tue, 2005-12-06 10:17The boys have been doing pretty well over the last 3 weeks.. First game was against hotbites (dario and david b) with a relatively easy win.. Second game ended up in a draw 80-80 with Gribbo and I stealing 2 runs on the last ball to save it.. Last nights game was the derby against the FnC's.. A good fielding performance kept them down to 90 with their last pair smashing 45.. Our batting was pretty dismal and with one pair left we needed 43 for the tie and 45 for the win.. with 18 to get off the last over, they bowled 2 no-balls, a wide, went for a 7 and a 4 and a few singles to give us the match on the very last ball.. Absolutely robbed.. Awesome game, feel sorry for the other guys, well sorta.. :)
Escape with ET
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Sun, 2005-12-04 10:49Watched the escape with ET show on Saturday and was once again impressed.. Great section on the doggie tuna and also on the mulloway and those other river beasts they battled.. A little overkill with the advertising, but still all in all a damn good show and it made up for not having a FWA on the weekend.. Pretty impressed.
How was the mackerel as well.. That spaniard was a monster!

Boat Upgrade
Submitted by Fishwrecked on Wed, 2005-11-30 14:45Well, put my new winch on today.. Won't be long before I'm fully operational and heading out all the time over the Chrissie period.. All thats left now is to fibreglass in the captains seat, re-spray the interior (optional), and put all the electronics back in place and its all sweet..
Process so far has been, Remove all non stainless items, fibreglass the floor cracks on both sides (as a result of having too heavy chairs), remove and replace all the electrics, sand and cut back the loose paint..
Not too much more to go, but its been a long and arduous process.. But it will be worth it, can't wait!

Download each one and take a look, some scary stuff, and some pretty cool montages. But some of them are pretty disturbing, i warn you now.

The Ashes 2005
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Fri, 2005-07-22 12:45Now I don't know about you, but I am over the moon by the return of Richie, Tony and some Australian commentators to the cricket coverage. Yesterday when one of the English commentators said "This is the changing of the guard", when England put seven slips in before lunch and Australia was considered to be on the ropes I was completly disgusted and couldn't believe my ears.
First day on an English greentop with the ball moving around everywhere, zipping and cutting back off the seam and they think that the Aussies are dead and gone for.. Well.... All we can say over here is.. OOOOOOh AHHHHHH Glenn McGrath.. The man is a machine and with England at 7-90, I can tell you that the changing of the guard won't be today and maybe the English commentators should wait until they see England bat before they comment about the fortunes of their side.. But, it is quite satisfying watching them put their team up on a pedestal and for McGrath to bowl the legs from under them.. Very enjoyable watching indeed..
