4X4 insurance
Submitted by NOHA on Thu, 2008-02-21 12:47For those that have 4X4's what insurance company do you use. I ask this as all the standard insurance companies will take your money but the fine print says you are not covered unless on a gazetted road or designated off road area.
So bad luck if you damaged your car driving along some beach access track or remote back block fire break.

New Camera
Submitted by Andy Mac on Wed, 2008-02-20 20:25Well the FEDEX man arrived today with my new camera. The drama's with my old one have still to be resolved, but this one is more a still camera than a dedicated movie one.
Its a Panasonic DMC - FX18, fully functioned with high quality lenses. 8.1mp.
Here are a few test shots this evening, scaled down significantly to fit on the site, but you will get an appreciation for the type of fish pcs it will be capable of capturing at the Monte's next week.
another one

Submitted by Rodrat on Thu, 2008-02-14 20:16HI
On a few different trips i have caught sml hammerhead sharks,
once in the sound and twice out from garden island. Last saturday

Anyone else caught them locally and where? Seems they maybe a few around the area.
What other sharks have you caught around rockingham? Great to eat to!

Whats in a name?
Submitted by Rodrat on Wed, 2008-02-13 21:02HI
Ok so i have pretty well made up my mind on buying a new
540 trailcraft trailblazer and was wondering whether to give it a name or not?
What ideas for names have you got? Does a boat need a name or do you think it a good
idea not to name a boat?
Cheers

Oldies
Submitted by Jody on Wed, 2008-02-13 17:02 Lulu was a prostitute, but she didn't want her grandma to know. One day, the police raided the brothel and took all the girls outside and made them line up. Suddenly, Lulu's Grandma came by. Grandma asked,
"Why are you standing in line here, dear?"
Not willing to let her grandmother know the truth, Lulu told her that
the police were passing out free oranges and she was just lining up for some. Why, that's awfully nice of them. I think I'll get some for myself, "Grandma said, and she proceeded to the back of the line.
A policeman was going down the line asking for information from all the prostitutes. When he got to Grandma, he was bewildered and exclaimed,
"Wow, still going at it at your age? How do you do it old girl?"
Grandma replied, "Oh, it's easy, dear. I just take my dentures out, rip the skin back and suck 'em dry." The policeman fainted.

quobba
Submitted by brenz on Sat, 2008-02-09 09:43gday guys just got back from quobba on thursday morn so thaught id put up a bit of a report.
great trip with plenty of bust offs and a handfull of landed fish .
got trevz ,red throat , more empror species cobia etc .
the dissapointing part was the lack of easterlies so no balloons wich was much needed as the tuna schools were just outa casting distance with some fish estimated to 5o kg plus absolute barrels!!!
cheers brenz
