Derby
Submitted by millsy on Fri, 2019-07-05 08:13
Who is hosting a Derby BBQ??
Our collapsible fire pits would make an excellent addition
You can have a full eagles pit, a full dockers pit or if you are a divided household you can have a half and half. One eagles plate and one dockers plate.
Full designed pits are $145.00
The pits are 500w x 500d x 400h and made from 3mm steel
Once you are finished, the fire pit can be collapsed into 5 pieces for easy storage.

Rule of thumb for weather conditions in Perth
Submitted by Tinny Basher on Thu, 2019-07-04 15:54Gday people, just moved down to perth from darwin and looking to suss out the weather to head out for a fish. The rule of thumb for up north was under 10kn and .5 swell would be good conditions, is there a similar rule of thumb people go by for down here? Ive got a 6m joshua boat sports fisher which like most ali's tends to slap about in anything other than slight chop but it has routinely been 70k offshore up north when the conditions are right. I would be looking to head out the back of rottnest up here so any help to suss what weather is needed for a safe trip out there would be appreciated.
Cheers

Ocean Reef Leading Line
Submitted by Kakkerlak on Wed, 2019-07-03 09:22Will the leading line be fine with a 3m swell. Thinking of hitting it in the dark on Saturday to fish the 3 mile. I've gone through the Hillarys' GAP up to 2.5m but think I will give Saturday a miss going through the GAP with predicted swell size and use the leading line. Very harry in the dark.

Simrad GO7
Submitted by Mitch1 on Tue, 2019-07-02 21:47Hi guys,
Just purchased a boat on the weekend which is fitted with a Simrad GO7 GPS/Sounder. I was hoping someone with the same or similar sounder might have some advice on what manual settings to use to get the most out of the sounder. I generally fish in the 40m range for dermersals. Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Mitch

Deff not the biggest we have faced but bit more than I normally like to tackle with punters onboard.
There was only about a 2m swell running and looked fine all the way up to it till the set turned up.

Rain water in boat.
Submitted by Manfish on Tue, 2019-06-25 20:36I keep my half cabin boat raised and fully covered by a water proof boat cover. But after it rains I find about 3 ltr of water pooling inside, down the rear of the boat. The boat is utterly covered and there are no holes or tears or anywhere the rain can breach the cover... how is this happening?

Collapsable Fire Pits
Submitted by millsy on Sat, 2019-06-22 17:37
Hi Guys,
I recently started making a few of these collapsible fire pits.
Made from 3mm steel, 500w x 500d x 400h. Once you are finished, the fire pit can be collapsed into 5 pieces for easy storage.
Perfect to take camping or for your backyard. A standard from bunnings grill can also fit on top for a perfect BBQ cook up.
Currently I have most AFL teams, car brands and a few fishing outdoor designs available.
Custom requests are possible but a minimum $50.00 drawing fee is required and restrictions do apply.
Designed fire pits are $145.00
Pick up local metro
Big thanks to Adam for permission to get them out there
