Fish Tales - Golden Trevally off a Manta Ray
Submitted by K_willo on Mon, 2017-11-20 20:45 Recent trip to Exmouth produced alot of missed fish and opportunities..and fortunately some absolutely cracking fish.
I have a pretty short attention span so instead of the classic 5-10 minute trip report movie I'm making short clips of one or two fish.
Here's the first installement with a few more to come.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLS9pIucqr4
We had a day out with 7:6:6 on Blue Marlin and switched them up to 400lbs with footage to come from that..
Enjoy,

A recent edition of iFish contained a segment with our mulie shred in action. The featured product was the 5kg block and there were some nice fish caught on the day – see attached video.
A big thank you to Brad from Bluewater Tackleworld, and Paul Worsteling, for promoting the product in such a meaningful way. Our products are available from Bluewater Tackleworld at Joondalup, Mindarie, Myaree and Morley, or our Wangara shopfront.

Gummy on KG gear
Submitted by Red Dog on Mon, 2017-09-11 12:07Out in Warnbro Sound on Saturday with my son chasing KG's when something clearly bigger than our target species took off on a run.
Was an exciting first twenty minutes or so as we both tried to call the fish so you can imagine our surprise when we got our first glimpse of a shark.
Just kept working the faithfull little Shimano Spin rod until we eventually got him boatside for a clean release - hook and all.

Submitted by ranmar850 on Mon, 2017-07-31 21:27
It happened again. Two years later, and about 5 k away, I had another sail taken by a shark. just the one did the damage this time, instead of a pack.

Bream on Fly
Submitted by grantarctic1 on Fri, 2017-07-28 12:35With the Swan River being pretty messed up this year I found it hard to consistently find the Bream. So I decided to get some practice on the fly gear.
Learning how to cast sitting in the canoe was quite a challenge and something I needed to do in preparation for Trout season. Last season I missed some nice fish because I couldn’t get the fly in front of cruising Trout.
I was very frustrated at first not getting even one hit the first few times out, but I persisted and finally got a small Bream right on dusk giving me the encouragement to keep at it.
So far this is the biggest one I’ve landed, not huge but a nice fat fish around the 30cm size that went pretty hard in the shallow water .

Tamala Sunset timelapse
Submitted by ranmar850 on Sun, 2017-04-16 19:24 Taken last Sunday night at Tamala, while I had my feet up with a beer. The good thing about timelapses, you just set them up and watch it all unfold, or not.
