 What's the address of that British chippy down Rocko way? The poms have got a bit of time on their hands to visit now.

 In the market for a pressure washer, as usual i dont mind spending a bit extra to get something of quality that will last.

Can anyone give me make/mod they would buy again and what makes it a stand out.

A fantastic win by Australia against Sri Lanka today, and an even better outright win by the mighty Warriors  against Queensland today. Footy has nearly started but my mind is firmly on the cricket just now.

I was down walking the dog with the wife this morning (got a coffee from the bent st café best coffee in rocky), the old blue boat moored about 2 hundred meters down from the ramp the owner was pumping its bilge into the ocean AGAIN there was a slick going all the way down into the wind surfing/para sailing area and bloody stunk , I reported this bloke to fisheries and dept of environment after I saw him pumping his bilge about 4 weeks ago , was the same thing then fuel every where , obviously they took no action as he is still at it . That area is a bird life sanctuary area . Lost faith in reporting things now as they don't do bugger all

I was asked what the two white lights are in Dampier harbor (they are on shore near 5 m conveyor opposite the tug pens) if you line them up will guide you straight in to the Hamersley tug pens at night , for the life of me cant remember what they are called, any 1 know

i was wondering if anyone has ever attempted to register their imported shimano reel online for warranty purposes. Now before I get the australian warranty law book thrown at me by some members I do know buying overseas is often be buy at your own risk. Yes I am all for supporting site sponsors and I buy 95% of my gear within Australia. Ultimately I tracked down a deal too good to refuse for a new shimano Ocea jigger 1500hg (me and some mates ended up buying 3 of them). 

As as far as I understand it shimano Australia basically import exactly the same reels from shimano Japan and then just add the australian margin on top prior to on selling to other tackle stores (by australian margin I mean to cover wages, marketing, shipping, plus profit ect). So if a particular reel is the same as what shimano Australia buy, could someone who imported their own from overseas therefore not register the product online for any potential future warranty purposes? 

I do do understand that seen as though the reel was purchased directly from Japan it would be the buyers responsibility to pay freight to return it back to Japan for warranty assessment, however that is the same as sending a reel for warranty within Australia. The shimano oz website only allows registration of australian purchased products (even though they buy them from Japan themselves) the shimano America site only allows you to choose America or Canada. Lastly the shimano Japan website could possibly contain a warranty registration section but I am buggered if I can read even a 10th of their website.

so in summary I was wondering idol anyone has attempted to register their imported reel or if they have attempted to submit an overseas purchased reel within shimano Australia? Any info is appreciated

I've got an old fibreglass 5.5m with a 25 year old Mercury (still going well).  I need the steering fixed - all seized up and now broken (thanks to me trying to force it :-) )

The boat is in Warnbro - anyone know who can do a good job cheap :)  - I don't got loads of money to spend (otherwise I'd buy a new boat!)

 G'day all. I am thinking of getting new rims and tyres for my 2006 prado 120. It currently has the factory 17" alloy rims on it and was hoping to put smaller steel rims with bigger tyres on the car for beach driving.  Has anyone in FW world done this without any mods to the car? I've read a few forums and some say it can't be done and others say it can. Cheers in advance. 

I am looking at replacing the original stock standard suspension on my 1997 80 series cruiser with a 2" lift kit. Am after peoples opinions on what brand to go for ie west coast suspension,tough dog,iron man or any other,and whether to go with soft,medium or firm. Only really load up with weight when going away camping with the wife and kids (which aint that often) and only tow a 4.2m tinny with it. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated ie steering dampner,castor bushes.
