Stage Three for WA

Ok I’m pretty sure we definitely can’t go fishing now due to stage 3 restrictions in WA

The government now has the capacity to enforce these restrictions.

“If you choose to ignore the law, there’s every chance you’ll get caught,” McGowan said. People must stay at home unless shopping for essential items medical or exercising

Early 40th Pressie (Not Fishing Related)

Have had to shitcan my 40th birthday in 4 weeks time and with lockdown seemingly imminent I rushed out yesterday and grabbed my pressie.

Plan is for the kids to surprise me to give them a bit of excitment and Ima have all the time in the world to get accustomed to her.

This advice would definitely set us back

Surfing the web while sitting around at home and found this article from carsales dated 28 March

Top 10 activities for car nuts in quarantine (part 2)

subtitled Road Trips

Until such time as you’re actually diagnosed with coronavirus, there’s nothing to stop you taking a trip out into the country and visiting places that would welcome you and your money. Unless the whole country goes into lock-down, then revert back to suggestions one through four.

Just make sure that you’re not living beyond your means doing so.

There are so many great places to see and things to do within an hour or so of any capital city in Australia.

Plan your trip around things that you want to do; focus on the car museums or race tracks dotted around the state, or find a lovely scenic drive to enjoy.

Is this normal

While in k town I thought I would check out the local ramp. Got a bit of a shock as to how low the tide can go. Plenty of fish around as in mudskipp

Bit of humour

No Friday funnies?

Put them up Ledge if you were considering not too, mate we all need a good laugh in these times. It distracts from the shit.

Here's a couple to get the ball rolling

Out of Work / Working from Home ?

Plenty of discussion already I know, I'm a lucky one been set up to work from home....first week and its doing my head in already.

Who's out of work...lost major contracts...let good staff go etc?

Anybody get the Gov $700 payment...did it help, is there additional help available?

Lots of people doing it tough for sure, mental well being is a big concern!

Rottnest Corona Quarantine

 Just saw this on ABC

https://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2020-03-22/wa-sa-set-to-close-borders-amid-coronavirus-fight/12079044

It looks like Rottnest is going to become a Quarantine for people who might have the virus!

Lets hope that it doesnt turn into a quarantine only destination!

Corona Virus

Well it’s strange times we live in, seeing plenty of stories that concern, my wife is a diabetic so she’s at risk. Elderly at risk. Seeing posts this morning where it’s also being transmitted via fuel pumps, so that’s something else to be considered. I’m happy to sit at home, just venture out for alcohol runs. Look after yourselves and your families, and hopefully we all come out the other side in good health.
On a side note, I saw yesterday where Trump said, this virus is killing people who haven’t died before.

Coral Bay

Any news on whether Coral Bay is going to remain open or shutting down during this period of uncertainty. We are booked in on the 16th May but seeing how many places are winding down so as to try and prevent the spread I'm just wondering if the Bay is going to be affected.

Land based in Karatha

Tow a boat trailer Perth to Exmouth

Hey bit of a long shot. Anyone driving up to Exmouth any time soon can tow an empty trailer up. Its only a 6mtr single axle alloy trailer and is empty. Bearings have been done and all rego and roadworthy. Will need to pick up from Chivers Marine in Bibra Lake.
If you can assist before the end of March happy to pay cash for fuel or a days fishing trip off Exmouth.
Cheers
